In order to solve a considerable problem
being faced by the Grand Lodge in the matter of analysis
and Bank reconciliations, all payments ,to Grand Lodge
henceforth may kindly be made only by Demand Drafts
payable at New Delhi.
All Lodges/Regional Grand Lodges/Brethren
and others making payment to the Grand Lodge on a regular
basis may please avoid doing so by cheques but to do
so by Demand Drafts payable at Delhi.
There has also been representation
that in order to minimize number of payments through
Demand Drafts etc. the Grand Lodge may accept a lumpsum
"ON ACCOUNT" payment from Lodges. Instead
of payment being sent each time, this account will be
debited against charges for dispensation fee, registration
fee etc. of the respective Lodges.
Lodges which are desirous of availing
this facility may remit a minimum sum of Rs.I,500/-
towards this account.
The present practice of sending remittance
with each return/application, etc. will also continue
to be in force, for such of the Lodges who do not opt
for the lumpsum deposit of Rs. 1,500/-.
