Dear Sir and W /Brother,

It has been observed that the active and past ranks of Grand/Regional Grand Officers are not being printed correctly by some Lodges in the list of members and honorary members. The abbreviations for ranks are also not correctly mentioned. A list of standard abbreviations is herewith enclosed for guidance. These may be uniformly used.

Further, in the case of Brethren holding ranks both in the Grand Lodge and t~e Regional Grand Lodge, it would be preferable to mention the highest rank of the Brother concerned. Lodges may have two columns in the summons, one showing the RGL Rank and the other showing the GL Rank. It may please be noted that the rank ofRGM is a Grand Rank and not a RGL Rank.
