Sub: R.W.Bro.P.M.Sundaram ShasJtti.Abdapoorthi Scholarship Fund Bursaries 2006-2007
I enclose a brief Notice about the award of Scholarships from the above Fund for the year 2006-2007. Please have the Notice read in your Lodge/Chapter /Mark Lodge/R.A.M.Lodge at your next me~ting and also bring it to the notice of others who may be interested to apply for the award. Rules and Regulations and Application Forms should be obtained by applicants from the Regional Grand Secretary concerned whose address is mentioned in the brief Notice. All Applications must be sent to the concerned Regional Grand Lodge for onward transmission with their recommendation, to the Grand Loage of India, New Delhi.   With greetings,

The applications, when,received may please be thoroughly scrutinized in all respects and forwarded to the Grand Secretary, Grand Lodge of India with specific recommendations latest by 30th June 2006. Applications received without such recommeq4ations and after the due date may not be considered. Students who are now in receipt of the Bursary from this Fund may please be informed that they should apply again in response to this circular for,the continuance of the Bursary, if they so desire. The Regional Grand Secretaries / Secretaries are requested to abide by the following guidelines before making recommendations for awards: GUIDELINES 1. Income of the household to be less than Rs.3000/- p.m. 2. No. of dependents in the household not to exceed 7 (including dependent parents) 3. Priority to be given if the applicant / rebpient's father is not alive. 4. Priority to be given if an applicant for Graduate/Post Graduate aw'ard had been placed in the 1st Division in Class XII / Graduate Examination & 5. Due weightage for a child of a mason. BRIEF NOTICE Please note that the bursaries for School student is Rs.200/- p.m. and College stuaent is Rs. 250/- p.m. These will be payable yearly to the selected students through the Regions concerned. Applicants for Bursaries may be of either sex. Application forms can be had from the Regional Grand Secretary concerned, on payment of Rs.2/- at the address given below: (1) The Regional Grand Secretary, Regional Grand Lodge of E.I., Freemasons Hall, 19, Park Street, Kolkata - 7000016. (3) The Regional Grand Secretary, Regional Grand Lodge of S.I., Freemasons Hall 14 (Old No.87 ), Ethiraj Salai, Egmore, Chennai - 600008. (4) The Regional Grand Secretary, Regional Grand Lodge of W.I., Freemasons Hall, Damodardas Sukhadvala Marg, Fort, Mumbai - 400001. The Application form duly filled in with documentary evidence in support of eligibility mentioned above should be sent to the Regional Grand Secretary concerned so as to reach him by the 10th June 2006. The last date for the receipt of applications bv Grand Lodge of India is 30th June 2006. Applicants, who are already in receipt of the Bursary for the academic year ending April 2006 should apply afresh, if they desire to be considered for the grant of the Busary during the year 2006-2007.
