Sub: Grand Lodge award for Best Lodge Summons.
As you are aware, the Grand Lodge of India has instituted an award for the "Best Lodge Summons". The award to the winning Lodge will be presented at the Grand Festival. It is M.W. the Grand Master's desire that all lodges should participate in this competition. Lodges are requested to send their Summons for anyone meeting held during the period June, 2006 to August, 2006 as an entry for the award. Three sets of the summons for the competition should be sent separately in an envelope marked "GLI SUMMONS AWARD 2006" to the Assistant Grand Secretary at the Grand Lodge of India office, New Delhi. The last date for receipt of entries will be 15th September, 2006. Please note that the 'summons' for the competition should be the usual summons which the Lodge regularly brings out and NOT a specially prepared one exclusively for the competition. Marks 1. Aesthetic Appeal 30   a. Layout on all pages - List of officers, Summons, Agenda, membership details, etc. 15   b. Readability (Font, size, spacing, margins) 10   c. Quality of Paper and printing 5       2. Statutory lnformation continued (as per GLI specifications) 50   a. S.No., Reg.No., Name with proper preftx, Date of IIJ/RJ, Date of Birth, Occupation, Rank in Lodge/RGL/GL (accuracy of the latest ranks), Phone Nos., Address, E-mail (wherever possible), indication of various categories of Memlferships, viz.
