As you are aware, the Grand Lodge of India has instituted
an award for the "Best Lodge Summons".
The award to the winning Lodge will be presented at
the Grand Festival.
It is M.W.the Grand Master's desire that all Lodges
should participate in this competition.
Lodges are requested to send their Summons for anyone
meeting held during the period June 2007 to August 2007
as an entry for the award. Three sets of the summons
for the competition should be sent separately in an
envelope marked "GLI SUMMONS AWARD 2007" to
the Grand Secretary at the Grand Lodge ofIndia Office,
Freemasons' Hall, Janpath, New Delhi.
The last date for receipt of entries will be 15th September,
2007.
Please note that the 'summons' for the competition should
be usual summons which the Lodge regularly brings out
and NOT an specially prepared one exclusively for the
competition.
A copy of the guidelines for this award is enclosed
herewith.
