Sub:- Competition for Websites of Lodges
You will recollect that a competition among Lodges for websites has been established last year by the Grand Lodge ofIndia. It is proposed to conduct a competition for the best web sites amongst Lodges under the Grand Lodge of India this year also. A Committee of three IT professionals appointed by the M.W.the Grand Master will assess and evaluate the websites as per the schedule given below. Quality of content, ease of usage, speed of accessibility and navigation are some of the features that will be assessed. Schedule 1 Last date for registration of Lodges to participate in the Competition July 31, 2007 2 Evaluation of websites by the Committee August 1, 2007 - August 30,2007 3 Compilation! consolidation of Committee Evaluation forms and submission of ranking to M.W.the Grand Master September 15,2007 4 Announcement of results at the Annual Grand Festival 24th November 2007 It is proposed to award the following prizes: 1 Best Lodge Website in each ofthe four RGLs Three prizes 2 Second Best Lodge Website in each of the four RGLs Three prizes 3 Best Lodge Website under the GLI One prize 4 4 Second Best Lodge Website under the GLI One prize The best website and the second best website under GLI will be chosen from amongst the Winners and Runners up websites of the four RGLs. A Registration Form is enclosed. You are requested to fill up and send the same to reach the Grand Secretary on or before 31 st July 2007. Please note that you may register for the competition even if you do not have a fully functional for the Committee to review on or before August 1, 2007. However you must provide the registered lJRL of your Lodge website along with the Registration Form. There is no fee to participate in the Competition. With greetings,

However, you must have a registered URL for your lodge website at the time of sending the registration form, to participate in the competition. ** Please provide temporary user name and temporary password if you website requires login to access some of its features. This can be valid from July 01,2007 to August 30, 2007, for the Evaluation Committee to access your site for evaluation purposes.
