I enclose a brief Notice about the award of Scholarships
from the above Fund for the year 2007-2008.
Please have the Notice read in your Lodge/Chapter /Mark
Lodge/R.A.M.Lodge at your next meeting and also bring
it to the notice of others who may be interested to
apply for the award. Rules and Regulations and Application
Forms should be obtained by applicants from the Regional
Grand Secretary concerned whose address is mentioned
in the brief Notice. All Applications must be sent to
the concerned Regional Grand Lodge for onward transmission
with their recommendation, to the Grand Lodge of India,
New Delhi.
The applications, when received may please be thoroughly
scrutinized in all respects and forwarded to the Grand
Secretary, Grand Lodge of India with specific recommendations
latest by 30th June 2007. Applications received without
such recommendations and after the due date may not
be considered. Students who are now in receipt of the
Bursary from this Fund may please be informed that they
should apply again in response to this circular for
the continuance of the Bursary, if they so desire. The
Regional Grand Secretaries / Secretaries are requested
to abide by the following guidelines before making recommendations
for awards:
GUIDELINES
1. Income of the household to be less than Rs.5000/-
p.m.
2. No. of dependents in the household not to exceed
7 (including dependent parents)
3. Priority to be given if the applicant / recipient's
father is not alive.
4. Priority to be given if an applicant for Graduate/Post
Graduate award had been placed in the I st Division
in Class XII / Graduate Examination & 5. Due weight
age for a child of a mason.
BRIEF NOTICE
Please note that the bursaries for School student is
Rs.300/- p.m. and College student is Rs. 750/- p.m.
These will be payable yearly to the selected students
through the Regions concerned. Applicants for Bursaries
may be of either sex. Application forms can be had from
the Regional Grand Secretary concerned, on payment of
Rs. 2/- at the address given below:

The Application form duly filled in with documentary
evidence in support of eligibility mentioned above should
be sent to the Regional Grand Secretary concerned so
as to reach him by the 10th June 2007. The last date
for the receipt of applications by Grand Lodge ofIndia
is 30th June 2007.
Applicants, who are already in receipt of the Bursary
for the academic year ending April 2006 should apply
afresh, if they desire to be considered for the grant
of the Bursary during the year 2007-2008.
