Our M.W. the Grand Master and the Grand
Lodge Secretariat often receive invitations from Grand
Lodges abroad for their Annual Communications etc. and
other events, requesting our M.W. the Grand Master or
his representative to attend the same. Very often such
letters also indicate that while courtesy of accommodation
etc will be provided to our M.W. the Grand Master, other
representatives or those accompanying him may have to
make their own arrangements for accommodation etc.
As it is difficult to bring such invitations
to the notice of Senior Grand Officers and Grand Representatives
of such Grand Lodges, on every occasion on which we
receive such invitations, it has been decided that all
such invitations with such details as are made available
to the Grand Lodge of India would be posted suitably
in the website of the GLI(www.masonindia.org) from time
to time. It is requested that Grand Officers may visit
our website from time to time, to ascertain the details
of such invitations and in case they are in a position
to attend any of the events they may get in touch with
the Grand Lodge(s) concerned with reference to the details
available in the website and also get in touch with
Grand Lodge of India for suitable accreditation by M.W.
the Grand Master to enable them to attend the event
on his behalf.
However the expenses on travel and
accommodation for such events would have to be borne
by the Grand Officer concerned. If any clarification
or assistance is required in connection with such invitations
the Secretariat of the (hand Lodge of India, would be
happy to respond to the Grand Officers.
