As you are aware 'Square and Compasses',
the quarterly Magazine of the Grand Lodge includes in
its issues, section called "Regional Grand Lodge
Round Up" and "Lodge Round Up" containing
news and details of various events of the Regions/Lodges,
as reported to us. Events of each quarter as reported
to us, say within the first month of the next quarter,
are included in such quarterly issues. Events reported
later than one month after the end of the quarter, which
are not included in the quarterly issue under compilation,
sometimes become too stale for inclusion in the next
quarterly issue. It is therefore requested that all
the Regions/Lodges may send news etc of the events taking
place, within a quarter, soon after the occurrence of
the event and in any case within one month ofthe end
of the quarter.
It is also requested that such reports
are sent clearly marked "For Inclusion in Square
and Compasses" and as for as possible electronically,
along with photographs, by e mail, for easy and speedy
compilation by us; where necessary and convenient, the
photographs may be sent by CD.
It is also clarified that while the
Lodges may keep their Regional Offices informed about
such events, it is not necessary that Lodges should
send such repdrts for inclusion in Square and Compasses,
through the Regions.
