We are glad to inform you that the
Grand Lodge of India has decided to start a Certificate
Course on Masonic Education, with the approval of the
Board of General Purposes.
The Certificate Course will be open
to all Master Masons, who are subscribing members of
Lodges under the Grand Lodge of India and will be implemented
as a Distant Education Scheme. The duration of the course
will be one year, commencing from April 2009.
Master Masons who are interested in
joining the Certificate Course may apply to the Grand
Lodge in the prescribed form as enclosed. The fees for
the course will be Rs.1000/- payable in advance in favour
of the Grand Lodge of India.
"Course Material" will be
sent to each enrolled student soon after his registration.
Thereafter he will be sent periodical assignments, which
is expected to be answered by the student either on
hard copy or preferably by e-mail for evaluation and
return to the student. It is expected that there will
be 9 such assignments in each year to be answered by
the candidate. The successful students will be awarded
a Certificate, at the end of the one year course. The
Prospectus containing further details such as curriculum
etc. will be sent to the candidates who apply for registration
for the course.
