The application, when received may
please be thoroughly scrutinized in all respects and
forwarded to the Grand Secretary, Grand Lodge of India
with specific recommendations latest by 31st July, 2009.
Application received without such recommendations and
after the due date may not be considered. Students who
are now in receipt of the Bursary from this Fund may
please be informed that they should apply again in response
to this circular for the continuance of the Bursary,
if they so desire.
Copy also forwarded to Secretary, Kendrya
Sainik Board, West Block - 4, Wing - 5, R.K.Puram, New
Delhi (10 Copies) for information and necessary action
to inform all Sainik Boards.
BRIEF NOTICE
Please note that the bursaries for
School student is RS.1 000/- per quarter. These will
be payable yearly to the selected students through the
Regions concerned.
These awards are mainly to assist the education of children
of Defence personnel and men of the Armed Forces, the
Police, Civil Defence and other services, who lost their
lives on active service or through enemy action. Application
forms can be had from the Regional Grand Secretary concerned,
on payments of RS.10/- at the address given below:

The Application form duly filled in
with documentary evidence in support of eligibility
mentioned above should be sent to the Regional Grand
Secretary concerned so as to reach him by the 10th August
2009. The last date for the receipt of applications
by Grand Lodge of India is 31st July 2009.
Application, who are already in receipt
of the Bursary for the academic year ending March 2009
should apply afresh, if they desire to be considered
for the grant of the Bursary during the year 2009-2010.
