- The National Flag should be displayed on the pedestal
in the corner at the right of the Worshipful Master.
- All Charters etc. in the Hall should be at a lower
level than the National Flag.
- The Flag should remain displayed throughout the
meeting.
- After the meeting is closed, the brethren should
turn facing the Flag and sing the National Anthem.
- After the National Anthem, the Director of Ceremonies

all respect lower the Flag, fold it and place the

During this process all the brethren would remain,
standing and only after the Flag is deposited on the

The Committee has not recommended the
size of the Flag as it will depend on the Hall.
However, the ratio of the length to
the width of the Flag should be 3:2. The Flag should
bc made of hand spun and hand wovcn wool/cotton/ silk
khadi bunting.
