Dear Sir and Brother/Companion,
Sub: The Grand Lodge of India Relief Fund Awards 2005-2006

I enclose a brief Notice about the award of Scholarships from the above Fund for the year 2005-2006.

Please have the Notice read in your Lodge/Chapter /Mark Lodge/R.A.M.Lodge at your next meeting and also bring it to the notice of others who may be interested to apply for the award. Rules and Regulations and Application Forms should be obtained by applicants from the Regional Grand Secretary concerned whose address is mentioned in the brief Notice. All Applicatiqns must be sent to the concerned Regional Grand Lodge for onward transmission with their recommendation, to the Grand Lodge of India, New Delhi.

The applications, when received may please be thoroughly scrutinized in all respects and forwarded to the Grand Secretary, Grand Lodge of India with specific recommendations latest by 30th June 2005. Applications received without such recommendations and after the due date may. not be considered. Students who are now in receipt of the Bursary from this Fund may please be informed that they should apply again in response to this circular for thet continuance of the Bursary, if they so desire.

Copy also forwarded to Secretary, Kendrya Sainik Board, Maluna Azad Road, New Delhi (10 copies) for information and necessary action to inform all Sainik Boards.

BRIEF NOTICE :

Please note that the bursaries for School student is RS. 500/- p.m. These will be payable yearly to the selected students through the Regions concerned. These awards are mainly to assist the education of children of Defence personnel and men of the Armed Forces, the Police, Civil Defence and other services, who lost their lives on active service or through enemy action. Application forms can be had trom the Regional Gland Secretary concerned, on payment of Rs.2/- at the address given below:

The Application fonn duly filled in with documentary evidence in support of eligibility mentioned above should be sent to the Regional Gland Secretary concerned so as to reach him by the 10th June 2005. The last date for the receipt of applications by Gland Lodge of India is 30th June 2005.

Applicants, who are already in receipt of the Bursary for the academic year ending April 2005 should apply afresh, if they desire to be considered for the grant of the Bursary during the year 2005-2006.
