speculative. Any man can be mundane; but the Mason stresses
the sesthetic, the moral qualities. To be specific,
a Mason;

but possessed of a clear mind and cognisant of the responsibilities
manhood demands of him.

as well as fact. His thinking must be so channelled
as to be of benefit to his fellow-men.

for without such faith, he cannot give an inviolable,
a solemn, a binding word.

to practice, at all times, the Masonic tenets of brotherly
love, relief and truth along with temperance, fortitude,
prudence and justice.

favour or prejudice bias his integrity and thus avoid
being guilty of a dishonorable act.

humanity.

strength and establishment.
